It was more than 20 years ago when The Night Hunter terrified America with a series of disturbing, animalistic murders. He taunted police and wrote strange and bewildering letters to the media. The public breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the reign of terror ended when Bill Mendax confessed to the crimes and was sentenced to life in prison. But now a new murder has taken place, with similarities previously not released to the public. Is it a copycat? Does Mendax have a partner? Or has the wrong person been behind bars with the real killer on the loose all of this time?

The Bureau needs your help to find the truth before The Night Hunter kills again. Join the Bureau in search of clues as you explore over 100 unique pieces of evidence to learn about The Night Hunter's past and solve the murders in the present. It will take lots of evidence and listening to witnesses to catch the murderer.

The game includes over 100 unique components and players are immersed in true crime forensics not seen in other games. The companion website features audio and video evidence where players listen to witness testimonies, check the accuracy of answers, and receive chilling message from The Night Hunter himself. A lot of fun and in-depth sleuthing

This was a lot of fun to play through with a couple of friends - we're about halfway through so far and plan to finish in the new year.

We found the scenarios to be compelling, with great high-quality components (especially the ID cards and the light pen to analyze fingerprints) and an intriguing story that kept us interested throughout our play session.

While overall enjoyable, it would have been helpful to have a little guidance in the beginning of how the game would flow, rather than just jumping in a little directionless. We also found a couple of the puzzle solutions weren't the clearest based on the information presented (sometimes with facts pointing to a different solution that felt more logical).

But overall this was a lot of fun and I look forward to playing more soon!

Lots to Do

This game was really fun and required you to think out of the box a lot for it. I really love how detailed and thought out everything was.

Such a fun game

Perfect for a game night and having friends over. I’ve always loved solving clues. While it says 1 or more players, I suggest having at least 4, there’s a lot of information to go through. We decided we wanted to have a murder board, haha we wanted to do strings to connect but got too lazy. We had a blast getting in the vibe. I’m for sure gonna get more cases.

Detective game!

This game was fun, but it was really long! We broke it up into three parts, but we spent about five hours on it. You can play with just one person, but it is definitely more fun with more people. There's several chapters with different evidence and objectives. It's definitely for the older kids or adults.

REAL Detective Work

We LOVED this game! My husband and I are huge mystery fans and love solving puzzles. We’re those people that have never failed an escape room. And this game did not disappoint. It was very thorough and immersive, and didn’t feel thrown together. It tells a story and the clues are solvable but not always obvious. It’s not replayable (you know what happens!), but you definitely can pack it all back up and hand it off to a friend for them to play, which is also a great way to share games with your community. 11/10 would recommend.
