The Metal Earth Dr Who models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included directions to assemble your model. The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) is a product of the advanced technology of the Time Lords. A properly maintained and piloted TARDIS can transport its occupants to any point in time and space. The interior of a TARDIS is much larger than its exterior. The model measures 1.60 x 1.60 x 3.20 inches when assembled. Difficulty level: Moderate. No glue or solder needed.

Recommended for 1 player, ages 14+.

TARDIS

Honestly, I haven't put them together yet so I probably shouldn't be reviewing it, but I did kind of start it. It's nothing to actually do with this particular piece, it has to do with the metal puzzles to begin with. I didn't mind going out and buying needle nose pliers and wire cutters, but I don't feel confident in working the pieces to be perfect and so am worried about how it will turn out. The second piece I had to put on was the very top, which is supposed to be round. I've got it in the tabs, but pretty sure it's not going to look perfectly round when I work with it. There are a lot of really nice metal puzzles, but I guess they'd be more for people who actually know how to work with metal, so I guess I'll have to stick with the crystal ones.
