Build a floating turbo ball and learn the principles of air power with this fun circuitry kit. Connect the wires and plug in the batteries to create an air blowing fan that suspends the included ball in mid-air, demonstrating the properties of air power.
TurboAir works based on a simple physical principle. The air pump acts as a mechanical force that pushes the air upward to make the ball float in the air. When the air pump starts, air blows upward and pushes the ball to move upward. When the ball is at a certain distance about the air pump, the upward force is equal to the gravitational force which pulls the ball downward. At this point, the ball floats in the air where the two forces are in equilibrium. With this fun science kit, you can see the ball floating in the air and learn the effects of air power and gravitation. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included).
